The province’s reopening plan continues today with Ontario retailers that have street-facing storefronts being able to open and offer customers curbside pickup.
Hardware stores reopened on Saturday, a day after garden centres were allowed to open their doors to customers.
However, the province says businesses must follow public health measures and should review the workplace safety guidelines, such as promoting physical distancing and frequent handwashing, sanitizing surfaces, installing physical barriers, staggering shifts, and using contactless payment options to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The government’s Framework for Reopening our Province was released on April 27, 2020.

Meanwhile, provincial parks and conservation areas are also opening day for limited day-use access.
Premier Doug Ford said they can reopen for walking, hiking, biking and bird-watching.
Over 500 provincial parks and conservation reserves across the province will open today, while the remaining 115 will open Friday (ahead of the long weekend) for limited day-use activities.
However, at this time, camping and other activities are not permitted.
Residents are also being reminded that all buildings and facilities, including washrooms and playgrounds, continue to be closed.
