Some human remains found have been determined to be that of a man that had been missing from Caledon since September.
Caledon OPP say on March 16th, they were called about suspected human remains that were found by a person hiking in the area of 4th Line East and 15th Side Road in Mulmur.
Police confirm the remains are that of 88 year old Oloferno (Frank) Chiappetta.
He was reported missing in September of last year, and as far as the circumstances surrounding his death, OPP still don’t know what happened.
An investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to call Caledon OPP at 905-584-2241.
