An eight-year-old Bradford boy sparked a missing person search after he took a secret trip to the store to shop for a Mother’s Day gift.
On Tuesday afternoon, a Bradford woman contacted South Simcoe Police Service to report her young son missing.
Police started a missing child investigation and began searching for the boy, who was quickly located in good health inside Walmart on Holland Street West.
He stated that he walked to the store to buy a present for his mother for Mother’s Day.
The child was advised to communicate with an adult relative prior to leaving his home.
