The Waypoint Centre For Mental Health Care is planning a virtual tribute today for workers on the front lines.
“Reports are showing that 50% of Canadians are experiencing a decline in mental health due to the present restrictions related to COVID-19,” says Carol Lambie, Waypoint President and CEO. “While we have a number of initiatives in place to support our employees, we wanted to use the occasion of Mental Health Week to say thank you to all the essential workers.”
Everyone is invited to wear green, take a selfie and post it to social media and its Facebook event page to show their support of Mental Health Week and their appreciation of all essential workers.
