The Community Garden will open in Orangeville, but with some restrictions.
Starting Wednesday May 6th, the community gardens at the Edelbrock Centre, will open for the season.
Due to the pandemic though, only five people will be allowed in at one time, and they will have to stay two meters apart.
Registered members, with a specific attendance time, staff, and volunteers — will be the only ones allowed in.
Gardeners will have to wash or sanitize their hands before entering and after leaving, and after handling common items like hoses and gates.
Many people who work a plot in the community garden rely on it for their food, and one of the plots at the garden is allocated to the Orangeville Food Bank.
