
The pandemic is hitting our local producers hard as Farmers’ Markets in the region are forced to make changes.
The Shelburne Farmers’ Market has been cancelled this year, the decision was just made at the end of last week.
Market Manager Jennifer Crewson says they are however encouraging the community to support local farmers online, through social media platforms.
Crewson says they are hopeful that 2021 will be a “brand new start” for the Shelburne Farmers’ Market.
Meanwhile, the Orangeville Farmers’ Market is continuing the best they can, and are encouraging any market customers to contact vendors to buy directly right now.
