OPP drew their firearms during a traffic stop in Caledon.
On Friday, police responded to a parking infraction in the area of McLaren Road and Forks of the Credit Road.
The officer found the suspect vehicle and stopped it for a traffic violation.
As the officer approached the driver side window, a Beretta style handgun could be seen in the cup holder between two occupants.
The people in the car were removed at gun point and detained for an investigation.
It turns out the gun was an airsoft pistol.
The driver was charged with a violation of the Highway Traffic Act.
