Grey Bruce OPP say a wanted Kitchener has been arrested on Saugeen First Nation.
Police say on April 24th at 4:26 p.m., they learned a wanted person was at Mason Drive, Saugeen First Nation.
Police say officers went to the locations where they spotted the wanted man.
According to OPP, a brief foot chase ensued and the suspect was arrested and transported to Grey Bruce OPP Detachment in Wiarton.
Back on October 25th, 2019 police investigated an assault on Saugeen First Nation.
They say they formed reasonable and probable grounds against the arrested suspect. A warrant was put out for their arrest following the investigation in October 2019.
Grey Bruce OPP have charged the 37 year old Kitchener man with the following offences, Assault, three counts of Failing to Comply with Probation and Failing to Comply with Recognizance.
