A 21 year old Orillia man has been charged with assault with a weapon.
OPP say that on Thursday, they responded to a call on Oxford Street about someone with an edged weapon.
Police say the suspect approached the home of the victim, had a brief conversation, and then showed the weapon.
The suspect fled and was arrested a short time later.
