Marco Muzzo, who was in jail for a 2015 drunk driving crash that killed three children and their grandfather in Vaughan, has been granted day parole.
After a parole hearing yesterday, Muzzo was given day parole with geographical conditions and he cannot contact victims in the case.
He had pleaded guilty to four counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
The collision killed 9 year old Daniel Neville-Lake, 5 year old Harrison Neville-Lake, and 2 year old Milly Neville-Lake, as well as their 65-year-old grandfather Gary Neville.
The children’s grandmother and great-grandmother were also seriously injured in the crash.
The mother of the children, Jennifer Neville-Lake wrote on her Facebook page Tuesday that nothing changes for her, that no matter what happens her children and father don’t get to come back home.
