Today the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit reported 215 current Covid-19 cases in the region and two new deaths.
Two women in their 90s are the latest victims.
The women were residing at Bradford Valley Community Care, where another case is also confirmed today, bringing the total cases in that outbreak now to 40.
The Health Unit adds that as of today, 104 cases have recovered in the region, while there have been 12 hospitalizations and now, 14 deaths in total.
There are 14 new cases being reported today, many of which are in Barrie.
The case count is currently 199 in Simcoe County, while it remains at 16 for Muskoka.
