Wasaga Beach firefighters put out a small fire today at the Dyconia.
Fire Chief Mike McWilliam tells us the fire was inside a wall just above a heating unit in one of the apartments on the east side of the building.
McWilliam says there was clear evidence that an animal was nesting inside the vent and this was the cause of the fire.
The call came in around 10:30 a.m. and the chief says the fire was contained very quickly and damage was limited.
No one was hurt.
