A six-year-old girl is reportedly in critical condition in a Toronto hospital, after a dog attack near Haliburton.
Provincial police say the child and her mother were walking near their home on Gainforth Road in Dysart et al on Easter Sunday , when they were attacked by two Saint Bernards.
Police say the girl’s injuries are extensive, while the mother suffered minor injuries.
The health unit has ordered the animals to be placed in quarantine outside of the community for the next 10 days, while the investigation continues.
