Two local Walmart employees have confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Walmart Canada says one employee in Barrie and another in Alliston have both tested positive for the virus.
It says the associate from the Barrie South Supercentre last worked at the Mapleview Drive West location on April 6, while the Alliston employee last worked on April 1.
Store officials say anyone in close contact with the employees has been directed to self-isolate and each store has undergone “regular enhanced cleaning”.
