The Prime Minister is promising more financial help is on the way for more Canadians.
Justin Trudeau says the improvements will include topping up the pay of essential workers.
It will also include expanding the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) to reach people earning some income during the pandemic, seasonal workers without jobs and people who ran out of EI since January 1st.
If you are earning $1,000 or less a month you will now be able to apply for the CERB.
For example, Trudeau says this could include people such as volunteer firefighters, contractors who are able to pick up some shifts or part-time grocery store workers.
For workers looking after seniors and those with disabilities, the PM also pledged that a wage boost will come for them too.
Trudeau will be speaking with the Premiers about this tomorrow.
In addition, the government has launched a new mental health portal, which you can find here.
