A Clearview firefighter does NOT have COVID-19.
Chief Roree Payment announced on Twitter on Friday that the firefighter’s test results came back negative and Station 1 is back open for business.
The main fire station, located on Highway 26 outside of Stayner, was shut down as a precaution until the results were available.
The chief says thanks to all the other firefighters in the region who stepped up and shouldered the load while their brothers & sisters were out of commission.
I’m very happy to announce that our FF’s test results came back negative and Stn 1 is OPEN for business and ready to protect our residence once again!!!! #greatday pic.twitter.com/4Fx2zXfkBn
