Premier Doug Ford is going to extend the State of Emergency for Ontario.
Ford says he plans to extend the emergency measure to May 12, when the legislature is back in session tomorrow (Tuesday).
The premier originally declared a state of emergency on March 17.
Ford says he realizes people are getting anxious and want this to be over, but it is just too soon.
He says we have to continue to practice physical distancing and self-isolation a while longer.
