
Almost three hundred people have died from COVID-19 in Ontario.
Health officials report today that there are now a total of 291 deaths, with 17 being the latest.
There is now a total of 7,470 cases of Coronavirus in the province with 421 new cases since the last report.
That is a six percent increase in cases.
The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit currently has 141 confirmed cases of COVID-19 including 54 recovered, 12 hospitalizations and 8 deaths. It will provide its latest update at 1 p.m. today. You can watch it live here.
