The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting six new cases of Coronavirus today.
That brings the total to 114.
The new cases range in age from 20’s to 70’s.
Three of them got the virus from close contact with someone else who has it, there is one community acquired case, one travel related and one still under investigation.
The local health unit reports that out of the total of 114 COVID-19 cases, 40 people have recovered.
Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Charles Gardner, says this is still an active local outbreak. It has not peaked in the region yet.
