West Grey Police are looking for a couple of bashed up Honda Civics after two suspects were interrupted by homeowners during a break in.
They say an officer had to save a cyclist from being hit while the Civics fled the scene.
Police say it happened on April 5th, when officers responded to a break and enter in progress on Grey Road 3.
They say the property owners actually interrupted the two suspects who were breaking into their house.
Police say the suspects took off, one in a red Honda Civic with a smashed passenger side window and the other in a black Honda Civic with damage to the passenger side of the windshield.
According to police, the red Civic almost hit a cyclist during their escape but the responding officer managed to position his cruiser between the vehicle and cyclist.
The Civics reportedly took off southbound on Grey Rd 3.
The man in the red Civic is described as around 30 years old, white, with a slight build and short hair.
Police say one of the vehicles was spotted west bound on Bruce County Road 4 a short time later and OPP were advised to be on the lookout for it.
