Students at Collingwood’s Catholic high school are starting to vote for a new name.
A notice has gone out to parents and students at Jean Vanier Catholic High School are being asked to go to their grade level Google classroom to find the link to vote.
The move towards a new school name comes after a report was released in February by Vanier’s French-based charity, L’Arche International.
There are allegations from six women that Vanier coerced them in to having sex. The incidents are reported to have happened from 1970 to 2005.
Vanier died last year in Paris at the age of 90.
