Two more health care workers in Grey Bruce have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit confirmed the two cases Wednesday, a female in her 30s and a male in his 60s. Both are at home self-isolating.
A spokesperson for the Grey Bruce Health Unit confirms one of the health care workers is an employee at a long-term care facility in Grey Bruce.
Bayshore Broadcasting News inquired which long-term care home the positive test was at. A Grey Bruce Health Unit spokesperson says the long-term care facility is not being identified by Public Health.
The spokesperson acknowledged some other people at the facility will be tested for the virus, as protocol determines.
Meantime, the Health Unit acknowledged three new recoveries from the virus today. There have been 14 lab test-confirmed positive cases in Grey Bruce to date — five of those people have recovered.
Across the province, 426 new cases were reported by public health officials Wednesday, the highest single day jump since the virus started to spread in Ontario.
