The County of Simcoe has launched Letters to Seniors.
It’s a Pen Pal Program aimed at creating new friendships with the older population.
If you want to participate, write a letter to a resident and introduce yourself.
Tell a joke, or share an interesting story.
Many seniors live alone or are in long-term care homes, where visitors are not being allowed.
