A long-term care home worker is one of the latest cases of COVID-19 in Simcoe-Muskoka.
The local health unit says the person works at Spencer House Orillia.
Health officials are looking into the circumstances and who the person may have had close contact with.
The health unit is reporting six more cases today, including this worker, bringing the total to 57.
The cases are three men and three women ranging in age from 20’s to 70’s.
They are from Springwater Township, three from Barrie, one from New Tecumseth and one from Bradford.
One case is travel related, three are community acquired and two are from close contact with others who have Coronavirus.
Health officials say there are five more pending cases which still need to be processed so information on them won’t be available until tomorrow.
