Country musician John Prine has been hospitalized in critical condition, after experiencing symptoms of coronavirus.
A post to his official Twitter account said that the 73-year-old had been hospitalized on Thursday and intubated on Saturday.
Joe Diffie, a major country-music hitmaker throughout the 90’s, has died at age 61 due to complications related to COVID-19.
Alan Merrill, best known for writing and performing the original I Love Rock’n’Roll with his band the Arrows, has also died after contracting coronavirus. He was 69.
