Another case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Grey Bruce.
A female in her 20s has tested positive for the virus. The Health Unit says the case is travel-related, but did not specify where she returned from. The patient is at home in self-isolation.
To date, there have now been seven known cases in Grey Bruce. One of those patients has recovered from the virus. All seven cases have been travel related.
In the past 24 hours, the Health Unit says an additional 23 negative test results came back. To date, there have been 214 tests done on patients in Grey Bruce that have returned negative.
Meantime, public health officials in Ontario confirmed 135 new positive tests of the new coronavirus in the province Friday.
The count is lower than Thursday's, marking the first decline in daily known case growth in weeks.
There are now 967 active known cases in Ontario. There have been eight recoveries and 18 deaths.
