Grey County has declared a State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The county says it allows Council to act and make orders to protect residents and increases a municipality’s ability to share resources, personnel and equipment and respond to broader public needs.
It also says it also allows the County to recruit and support volunteers to help with emergency efforts if needed.
Owen Sound, Georgian Bluffs, Meaford, West Grey, Grey Highlands, Blue Mountains and Southgate have also declared.
