The four new beds at Campbell House hospice in Collingwood are open, ahead of schedule.
Hospice Georgian Triangle says that means all 10 patient beds are in operation.
The original deadline to open the new beds was April 1st, but staff worked closely with their healthcare partners to get the four beds open and occupied.
Restrictions during the COVID-19 Pandemic are in place for visitors.
Only two visitors are allowed per patient, but only one visitor at a time is allowed in a patient’s room.
All visitors are being screen upon arrival.
Hospice Georgian Triangle is inviting you to show your appreciation to health care workers at hospice, hospitals and other facilities by going outside your house at 7:30 pm and banging a pot with a spoon to make some noise for these heroes in our community.
