There will be no ferry service between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island until further notice.
In a release, the Ministry of Transportation says the Owen Sound Transportation Company is delaying the opening of the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun's spring operating season.
It was scheduled to begin on May 1, but is now delayed due to COVID-19.
“The government is monitoring the situation closely and will provide an update closer to the date,” the MTO release explains.
All reservations, group functions, and the Spring Cruise from Owen Sound to Tobermory affected by this delay have been cancelled.
