Wellington County OPP have arrested and charged a 44 year old West Grey man after a robbery.
Police say they were called at about 7 in the morning on March 6th to a home on Main Street South in the Township of Wellington North.
They say a man entered the residence armed with a stun gun and a baseball bat and assaulted the victim.
OPP say the accused also stole money from the victim before being apprehended by police.
They say the accused and the victim knew each other.
Police also searched the suspect and say they found codeine and counterfeit money.
The 44-year-old West Grey man faces numerous charges including:
Break and Enter into a Dwelling and Commit Indictable Offence
Possession of Prohibited Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Assault with a Weapon
Possession of Counterfeit Money
Robbery with Violence
Theft and drug posession.
He was held for a bail hearing.
