Two Hanover men have been arrested and charged by Grey Bruce OPP Sunday (Feb 16) along Hwy 6 after police say they were in possesion of a stolen vehicle.
Just before 5 pm Officers say they responded to a traffic complaint involving a black car being driven erratically and speeding northbound on Bruce Road 10. OPP officers stopped the car on Highway 6, north of Wiarton.
The stopped vehicle was found to be stolen from Hanover. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were arrested at the scene by OPP officers.
The 23 year old driver was charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle, Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
The 35 year old passenger was charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle and Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.
The two accused were released and are scheduled to appear in court March 12, 2020.
