A Carnival Day is taking place at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) today (Feb 17).
The family day event in Southampton takes place between 10-4 pm and will feature some exciting attractions says Emily Laur of the BCM&CC.
“We have Guinness World Record title holder – Lucas Wilson, he's a 4x Guinness World Record Holder for fastest escape from a straitjacket,” says Laur.
Breaking records is apart of the Carnival Day theme.
“If you're good at catching things blindfolded or maybe putting underpants on, we've got three legitimate World Records that all families can try and break together.”
Laur goes on to say there will be blindfolded lemon catching and teams of two can attempt to break the record on how fast one can put together a Mr. Potato Head.
Laur adds Lucas Wilson is also an Illusionist and will perform a show at 1pm and teach a workshop at 2:30.
The Museum says to advises one to arrive early to receive tickets for the Illusionist Show and separate Workshop as space is limited.
