The City of Owen Sound has released its report on council's pay and expenses for 2019.
In all, more than $268,000 was spent on Owen Sound council's salaries and expenses last year. Mayor Ian Boddy was the top earner at a salary of $54,839.
Deputy Mayor Brian O'Leary made the second most at just over $27,000. All other Owen Sound councillors received just over $24,000 in remuneration in 2019.
When it comes to expenses, Mayor Boddy ran up the highest bill at $4,769.
Coun. Richard Thomas charged city taxpayers the least for costs related to his work as a councillor last year: $231.
Expenses reported by others on council are as follows:
