Saugeen Shores Police have made an arrest in relation to a suspicious person incident from November 26th 2019.
Police have arrested a 38-year-old Hanover man and charged him with Criminal Harassment, Mischief and Attempted Break and Enter.
The male is alleged to have been seen peering into two separate homes in Port Elgin and was caught on video camera.
Police say they identified the suspect using DNA found at the scene that was sent to a national DNA database for testing.
Police explain that DNA databases are filled with samples from individuals that have been ordered to give samples by a judge in past cases.
Police are not releasing a name at this time.
The male has been released with a court date.
