Brockton has filled its vacant councilor position. A fresh new face has joined the Council table.
Tim Elphick is eager to begin his new role as a Brockton Councillor.
The 30-year old is a lifelong Brockton resident who brings with him experience representing and advocating for public sector employees in a labour relations role.
Elphick and his young family live in Walkerton, but he grew up in the rural area of Cargill.
He calls it an honour to take on this new role and serve the people of Brockton in a larger capacity.
Elphick was one of seven candidates that applied for the vacant councillor position that was created when Chris Oberle resigned on November 12th.
Mayor Chris Peabody welcomes Elphick, saying he is excited for the opportunity to work with him as Council continues to move forward initiatives already started to support the positive growth in the community.
