A concerning trend continues when it comes to impaired driving on OPP patrolled roads in Grey Bruce.
Provincial Police say over the past five days, five different motorists were arrested and charged for allegedly driving while impaired by alcohol in the area.
OPP say the incidents occurred in five different municipalities in Grey County. They involved male and female drivers ranging in age from 21 to 54.
These recent impaired driving occurrences come after Grey Bruce OPP reported a sharp increase in the number of drivers hit with the offence in 2019, with 140 drivers charged. That is an 81 per cent jump over a year prior.
