Provincial Police have identified a Hanover man as the person who died in a single vehicle crash in Arran-Elderslie last week.
South Bruce OPP officers responded to the incident on Bruce County Road 10 around 10:40 p.m. on Jan. 6, north of Tara, and arrived to find a vehicle in the ditch.
Police say 63-year-old Alfred VanDePoll of Hanover was pronounced dead at the scene.
OPP say investigation revealed he was driving a sport utility vehicle northbound on Bruce County Road 10 when it left the road and rolled over, then came to rest in the ditch.
