The 54th annual Grey Bruce Farmer's Week is officially underway.
The week-long event at the Elmwood Community Centre kicked-off with Goat Day today, featuring speaker Pedro Nogueira on feeding management to improve production.
Farmer's Week continues until next Thursday, Jan. 9.
Each day offers a different theme to appeal to different members of the agricultural community.
Tomorrow, it is Sheep Day and there are seven different keynote speakers. Among them are Ontario Sheep Farmers General Manager Jennifer MacTavish with an update on the province's sheep and OMAFRA Livestock Sustainability Specialist Christoph Wand who will talk about feeding systems and strategies for sheep.
Sunday, it is Horse Day at Grey Bruce Farmer's Week.
