The Conservative MP for Huron-Bruce is hoping the minority Liberals do more for rural Ontario in 2020.
Ben Lobb tells Country 104.9 News he would like to see Ottawa invest in greater infrastructure spending in rural ridings.
Lobb points to municipalities across Huron and Bruce counties in need of road paving and expansion, as well as water and sewer expansions.
Agriculture spending is something Lobb hopes to see more of, during this sitting of Parliament.
He says the recent closing of Ryding-Regency Meat Packers in Toronto meant a hard hit to meat processing in Ontario, which he feels should be addressed in parliament.
Housing is also something Lobb would like to see addressed at the federal level.
Candidates for Huron-Bruce in the October election cited a lack of housing as a reason many employers are unable to fill vacant job postings.
