With the end of 2019 closing in, local municipalities have been reflecting on the accomplishments and challenges faced over the year.
Georgian Bluffs is no different.
Mayor Dwight Burley says that the projects given the green-light by council this year are exciting.
“We finally got our strategic plan done and passed and were able to award our tender for Inglis Falls Road,” Burley reflects, “just many many things.”
2019 was a year of building cohesion within the council according to the mayor.
Burley says that heading into 2020 this has been achieved.
“We are starting to mould together as a team, it's the only way you can move ahead,” Burley says, ” I think 2020 will be a fantastic year for council.”
Burley says that 2020's first focus will be implementing the newly passed strategic plan and beginning construction on Inglis Falls Road.
