With 2019 coming to a close Chatsworth Mayor Scott Mackey looks forward to a productive 2020.
With big decisions like maintaining a contract with OPP under the council's belt, Mackey says there are more big projects in the works.
“If we get provincial funding, the Arena will be located where the old one was,” Mackey states regarding the new Chatsworth Arena that's in development, “right in the heart of the village.”
The Mayor also says a lot of road projects are planned for the coming year, with a new focus on using gravel where possible.
Mackey also says he looks forward to working with new Grey County Warden Paul McQueen in the coming year.
“Paul will serve the county well,” Mackey says, “I was privileged to be able to nominate him for the position.”
Mackey says he looks forward to serving the township and the county in 2020.
