As 2019 is coming to a close Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker is pleased with the progress made locally.
“We've been able to bring a lot of funding back to the municipalities,” Walker says, “whether that's the new school in Meaford or the Owen Sound bridge, there's the main street in Wiarton, lots of projects like that.”
Walker says that on a provincial level the amount of interested investors in Ontario has been encouraging.
Looking ahead into 2020, Walker hopes to keep this momentum going with more infrastructure projects.
“Markdale Hospital will always be one of the first and foremost I'm pushing for,” he states.
Walker says that personally he has no New Year's resolutions, but looks forward to a great 2020.
