The Knights of Meaford have hit another tough patch.
Alex Peeters scored a pair of goals as the Ville-Marie Pirates downed Meaford 5-3 in Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League action Saturday night at Ville-Marie Arena.
Meaford (9-16-1) dropped its third straight game and sits 10th in the North Division.
Felix Lemcomte scored twice for Meaford and Jack Hilworth also added one.
Maxime Longpre starred for Ville-Marie in net, stopping 38 as the Knights outshot the Pirates 41-35.
Next game for the Knights is Thursday at home against the Bradford Bulls (16-10-1).
