Local businesses are hosting big sales as part of Festive Friday tonight.

Carolers from Sandcastle Theatre will be traveling around downtown as well.
City of Owen Sound Events Assistant Heather Gillis says that locally purchased gifts might just be more personal for Christmas morning.
“If you are buying for friends and family who live out of town,” Gillis says, “it is really unique to get something from this space whether it's handmade or from a locally owned business.”
The event runs from 6pm until 10pm this evening.
