Without a collective agreement being reached between the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF) and the provincial government, the Bluewater District School Board says schools are closed today as planned.
That includes both elementary and secondary. Schools in the Catholic board are not closed.
The board says extracurricular activities and field trips planned for today will be rescheduled if possible.
Co-op placements are cancelled.
Third party child care centres will remain open, and Community Education evening
programs will continue to run.
Schools will be open tomorrow.
