A weekend search for a woman missing from the Kincardine area since 1988 didn't turn up new clues.
25 year old Lois Hanna disappeared from her Kincardine area home after the July 3rd festival “Celebrate In '88” at the Lucknow Arena.
Please Bring Me Home founder Nick Oldrieve says about 200 people showed up to help with a search of a field and brush area south of Holyrood.
“Even though we didn't locate anything of value at this point, just seeing the Hannas (who were) seeing the community involvement was something we were ecstatic about.”
Oldrieve says the search area is a square that takes up one whole concession. He estimates with the help of volunteers ranging in age from 10 to 84 who were from all over the area, they covered about half of it.
Oldrieve says people came from as far away as Toronto, London and Exeter.
He plans to continue the use of human remains detection dogs which a volunteer from Alliston has been bringing over to Kincardine.
The nigh Lois Hanna went missing 31 years ago, she left the Lucknow arena at 11:45 p.m. and arrived home roughly half an hour later at about 12:15 a.m. on July 4.
She was reported missing after she didn't show up at work at MacG's in Kincardine the next day.
Oldrieve says the theory is she was either followed home from the dance or someone was watching her home.
He says he's not giving up the search and will continue to look before the snow covers the ground, “We're just going to keep pushing on like we always do and we will keep on going until we locate her.”

Oldrieve and his colleague Matthew Nopper are the core of Please Bring Me Home.
They have also been searching for the whereabouts or remains of Lisa Maas, Lois Hanna, Neil McDougall, Joe Moore, Shawn Jones, Leslie Jones, and Kristina Rhodes, all of whom are from the Grey Bruce area.
Their organization recently also helped find both the remains of 20 Nolan Panchyshyn of Southampton and 55 year old Terry Schope of Owen Sound.
