It’s bound to be an emotional night tomorrow night when the Owen Sound Attack host the Guelph Storm in their final head-to-head meeting of the regular season.
The Attack & Storm made 2 significant deals prior to the OHL Trade Deadline, which essentially saw Owen Sound dispatch Markus Phillips, then Sean Durzi, Zachary Roberts & Nick Suzuki to Guelph in exchange for Barret Kirwin, Zach Poirier, Mark Woolley and close to a dozen draft picks.
The players have been through the awkward stage of playing against their former team, twice in fact, albeit both of those games were at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph.
How will tomorrow night go for Attack fans in Owen Sound ?
I can’t answer that fully, but I do know the former Owen Sounders certainly provided Attack fans with great memories during their time here.
