The 10th annual Chantry Island Cham-Bettes Christmas Tour of Homes gets underway on Friday, November 16th.
Chantry Island Cham-Bette Sahar Hassanien says that its not only a bunch of fun, but the event helps to raise money for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation, Caitlyn Cobean's Community Crusaders, and other local initiatives.
Sahar tells us that the Cham-Bettes raised over $100,000 for our local organizations over the years, thanks to the event.
Tickets are $20 cash and can be purchased in Port Elgin from Accents, Cathy's Flowers and Treasures, Ports Emporium, and K Interiors/Dennison Homes show room (across from the Plex).
In Southampton, pick up your tickets at Bayberry's and during tour hours at St. Paul's Anglican Church, or from one of the homes listed on the tour.
Sahar says that your ticket has the full list of homes attached with a bit of history about each particular location. A list of rules and etiquette for the tour are also included.
Sahar also tells us that you can get a one-of-a-kind fresh winter urn during tour hours by visiting St. Paul's Anglican Church on Saturday, with all proceeds also going back into the community.
Tour hours on Friday will be 6pm-9:30pm.
Tour hours on Saturday will be 11am-4pm.
