A Port Elgin resident could be the next cover model on Inked Magazine.
Inked is a magazine that features models with tattoos, and Amanda Orson definitely fits the bill.
Amanda has been modeling for 16 years, while balancing a full-time job and her family life.
Her husband Chad Clayton owns Inkternal Tattoo on Highway 21 at the south end of Port Elgin.
She is currently ranked 1st in ''International Group 8'' in the first round of voting, which concludes on October 2nd.
Round 1 will reduce the number of participants in each of the 100 groups to 30.
There are currently 80 women in ''International Group 8'', meaning that approximately 8,000 women are competing for the top spot.
Concurrent rounds of voting will eventually leave just one woman, who will be the recipient of a $25,000 grand prize.
Orson says in her biography on the website that she would use the prize money as a down payment to buy her house.
