BWXT and Brotech Precision officially announced they're moving into the facility during a special ceremony held on site.
BWXT's President John MacQuarrie says they will have 50-jobs created when they're up and running in November.
The two companies will be working with Bruce Power in its continuing Life Extension Program.
He also says they're investing big dollars–between one and two million dollars just to get their portion of the building ready for manufacture.
President and CEO of Bruce Power Mike Rencheck says he views it as a good day when you can help a community such as Owen Sound, prosper.
PPG has been empty for the past decade and will now house the two nuclear-related firms, along with a medical marijuana growing facility, which will be separate from everything else, although in the same building.
BWXT also presented a $3,000 cheque to Georgian College as part of a new bursary award in recognition of the school being a key supplier of talent for the region.
Owen Sound Mayor Ian Boddy says supplying a future generation to work at these facilities, keeps young people in Grey and Bruce, raising families and spending money.
Some 50 people were on hand for the opening ceremony at the facility.
